Commitment, Integrity, Respect & Professionalism serve as the foundational ethical bases of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. These principles govern how NFCA members are expected to speak, write, and act at all times, on and off the field. Anyone who witnesses an act or behavior they feel violates one of these “ethical bases,” are encouraged to report the incident to the NFCA Ethics Committee.
HOW TO REPORT
To report a suspected ethics violation, please email ethics@nfca.org. While submissions are anonymous except to the Ethics Committee, and if necessary, the NFCA Board of Directors Executive Committee, please provide your name and phone should you need to be contacted for additional information as well as the details of the incident and any supporting material.
Upon receipt, all information will be provided to the NFCA Ethics Committee. It is the responsibility of the NFCA Ethics Committee to review complaints made about NFCA members and when appropriate, recommend action to the NFCA Board of Directors’ Executive Committee. For any case where action may be taken, the subject of the complaint will be notified and given a chance to respond.
Upon review of the information submitted, courses of action may include:
- a private letter of warning;
- a public notice of reprimand;
- suspension of NFCA member;
- revocation of NFCA membership
