She scored nine runs and had 16 RBI as the Fighting Scots went 4-1 at the Salem (Va.) Invitational and 4-3 on the week.

Webb had multiple hits in six of her seven games, finishing the week with seven straight hits. She went 4-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI against West Liberty State, then 3-for-3 with four RBI vs. Ohio Vallley in the Boro’s final two games of the week. Against Slippery Rock on Wednesday, Webb went 2-for-4 in the first game of the doubleheader, before going 3-for-4 with two RBI, three doubles and two runs scored in the nightcap.

Marjorie Johnson, a senior pitcher from Southeastern Oklahoma State, earned the decision in every game she pitched last week, going 4-0 to improve to 15-0 on the season. She tossed 21.2 innings without allowing a run or a hit, including a 10-inning no-hitter in Saturday’s win over Henderson State.

The Tusla, Okla., native allowed just seven base runners on the weekend. Her 47 strikeouts averaged to 2.22 K’s per inning. Her week was highlighted by a 10-inning no-hitter against Henderson State. In the longest no-hitter in school history, Johnson struck out 19 batters as the Savage Storm posted a 1-0 victory in the 10th inning.

Southeastern Oklahoma State remains at No. 4 in this week’s NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
