STARKVILLE, Miss. – Estrella Foothills (Ariz.) remains at No. 1 for the fourth week in a row in the latest USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll, that was released by the Association on Thursday. The Wolves continued their winning streak this season with a record of 31-0 coming into this week of play.
Alviin (Texas) continued its hold on the No. 2 spot for the second straight week with a record of 31-3. Moving up one spot into third this week was The Woodlands (Texas), which made the ascent after winning three games and improving to 26-3 on the year. Also moving up in the ranks this week was Niceville (Fla.) and El Diamante (Calif.) who both climbed two spots to round out the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Norco (Calif.) and Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) both fell out of the top five this week for the first time this season after one loss each.
