LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Northern (Md.) won its sixth straight 3A state title to finish its season at No. 1 the latest USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll released by the Association on Thursday. The Patriots outscored their opposition in 2013, 201-1.

No. 2 John Curtis (La.) and No. 3 Logan (Calif.) held their spots this week in the rankings with Logan tacking on one win to improve to 24-1. Jumping up one position from fifth to fourth this week was Bishop O’Connell (Va.) (33-1), while rounding out the top five in the ranks after moving up two spots from last week was Woodinville (Wash.) (22-1).

Entering the poll for week 10 were No. 21 Glencoe (Ore.), No. 22 Olathe East (Kan.), No. 23 Barrington (Ill.), No. 24 La Grange (Texas) and No. 25 San Benito (Texas).

The USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 poll is compiled by state representatives from across the country.  Records for this week’s poll include all games played through May 28, 2013.
