EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin – After a season of hard work and dedication, the top 45 Division III softball players will be recognized for their on-the-field achievements as the 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-American class will be announced live from the Florian Gardens Event Center in Eau Claire, Wis.

Presenting the awards tonight on behalf of the NFCA will be NFCA members and All-American committee regional representatives Jen Walter (head coach, College of St. Scholastica, Midwest Region), Cheryl Milligan (head coach, Tufts University, New England Region) and Margie Knight (head coach, Salisbury University, Atlantic Region).
To be eligible for an NFCA All-American award, the respective player must have been selected to an NFCA All-Region First Team. In all, 120 student-athletes are eligible to be named an NFCA All-American, but only 15 will make each of the three teams – First, Second and Third Team NFCA All-American.
The NFCA All-American presentation is part of the NCAA Championship Banquet, which the NFCA is fortunate enough to be able to participate in with the NCAA to honor the 2013 Division III All-Americans. The NFCA also wishes to thank the staff at University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire for their support and help in the production of the banquet and awards ceremony.
