LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has released its 2013 NAIA All-Region squads.  In all, 133 student-athletes reaped either a first or second team selection from one of the Association’s five regions:  East, Great Lakes, Midwest, Southwest and West.

Top-ranked and NAIA National Championship top-seed Concordia (Calif.) led the way with seven all-region selections, boasting a nation-best six of its student-athletes on the region first team. Martin Methodist trailed just behind with five overall inclusions, while six schools, Olivet Nazarene, Davenport, Cornerstone, St. Ambrose, Grand View and Oklahoma City, each reaped four all-region nods.

NFCA member coaches in each of the five regions select the NFCA All-Region teams. Honorees now become eligible to be tabbed to one of two 2013 NFCA NAIA All-American teams which will be announced via NFCA.org on Tues., June 4.
