OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The UCLA Bruins only needed two swings of the bat to get past Georgia on Sunday, using two home runs to top the Bulldogs, 5-2, in the semi-finals of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's College World Series at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

Freshman B.B. Bates put UCLA on the score board in the second inning when she sent a ball over the right field fence to give her team an early 2-0 lead.

The Bruins (48-11) added to their lead in the next inning on a three-run bomb to right center from sophomore Samantha Camuso, her second of the tournament, that pushed UCLA's lead out to 5-0.

In the fourth, Georgia (50-13) led off the inning by breaking up a perfect game bid from UCLA pitcher Megan Langenfeld, who retired the first nine batters, with a walk from junior Taylor Schlopy.

Scholpy moved to third on the next play, when junior Megan Wiggins doubled to left field and ended the hopes of a Langenfeld no-hitter.

Both Schlopy and Wiggins scored in the following at-bat on a single down the left field line from junior Alisa Goler that pulled the Bulldogs within three at 5-2.

However, that would be as close as Georgia would get as Langenfeld once again found her groove and retired the next nine batters.

Langenfeld allowed just two runs off two hits over seven innings with three strikeouts to improve to 14-1 on the year and 3-0 in this year's WCWS.

For the Bulldogs sophomore Erin Arevalo took the loss after going 4.1 innings and allowing two runs off of two hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Arevalo will end her sophomore campaign for Georgia with a record of 20-7.

UCLA now advances to the best-of-three championship series which begins on Monday at 7 p.m. CDT. UCLA's opponent will be decided in Sunday's other semi-final between Tennessee and Arizona.

Monday's title game appearance marks the 18th for the Bruins and their first since 2005.
