LOUISVILLE, Ky -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association is pleased to announce the 2015 NJCAA Division III All-America team. This year’s All-America squad is comprised of 16 players representing eight schools across the three NFCA geographic regions.


Two-time NJCAA Division III national champion Rock Valley (52-5) garnered the most selections at five, while, runner-up Herkimer (38-9) was next in line with three. Brookdale and Monroe each had two players chosen, while four others had one apiece.

Pitcher Morgan Adolph, catcher Vivi Marquez, infielders Kaytee Keefe and Haley Love and outfielder Abby Kissack all had stellar seasons as each was named to the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) First Team.

Adolf, the NJCAA Tournament MVP finished the season with a NJCAA DIII best 25-2 record and ranked second nationally with a 1.58 ERA and 158 strikeouts. Her battery mate Marquez was the N4C Most Valuable Player and the NJCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Offensive Player. She leads the team in almost every offensive category, hitting .531 with 14 home runs, 85 RBI, a .954 slugging percentage and 69 runs scored. Her RBI and long balls led all of NJCAA DIII.

Keefe, Love and Kissack all garnered NJCAA All-Tournament nods. Love, the tournament Most Outstanding Defensive Player, led the Golden Eagles on the year with 16 stolen bases and also batted. .464 with 13 doubles, seven triples, 57 RBI and 67 runs scored. Keefe was presented the NJCAA Tournament Marucci All-Hitter Award and finished the season batting .462 with 16 doubles, 11 triples, five home runs, 64 RBI and 64 runs scored. Kissack, a freshman, hit .404 with 13 doubles, 34 RBI and 56 runs.

For the runner-up Generals, Ormond was 10-3 with a 2.09 ERA and 56 strikeouts, while chipping in offensively with a  .370 average, seven doubles, four triples and 27 RBI. Baron, earning an infield spot, hit .465 with a team-high 51 runs and also recorded 11 doubles, six home runs, 45 RBI, a 740 slugging percentage and .504 on base percentage. Daniels garnered recognition as an at-large infielder by batting .438 and leading her squad with 32 extra base hits, including 17 doubles and eight home runs to go along with a .929 slugging percentage, 45 RBI and 41 runs scored.

Grabbing selections at the pitcher and outfield spots are Brookdale’s freshman Victoria Vogt and sophomore Sara Vocisano, respectively. Vogt finished her campaign, 16-5 with a 2.93 ERA and 57 strikeouts. Vocisano, the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Player of the Year, posted a .488 batting average with 17 doubles, 66 RBI, 59 runs scored and a .508 on base percentage.

Also earning two selections was Monroe with infielder Lexy Rouse and outfielder Kat Laskey. Rouse batted .418 with a team-leading 10 home runs, 44 RBI and 57 runs scored. She also added 13 doubles and five triples. Laskey hit .385 to go along with 10 doubles, six triples, and four home runs. She drove in 42 runs and scored 38.

Joining  Marquez as a All-American catcher is Anoka-Ramsey freshman Jen Zidar. Named to the NJCAA Region XIIIA Division III Softball All-Region Team, Zidar is ranked in the top eight in the nation in seven offensive categories; .619 batting average (4th), 69 RBI (3rd), 8 HR's (8th), .952 slugging percentage (8th), .648 on base percentage (3rd), 18 doubles (8th) and 78 hits (3rd).

Rounding out the infield and outfield are sophomore Meghan Brown of Gloucester County and Brooke Hockeborn of Corning. A NJCAA Division III All-Region 19 Softball Team selection, Brown led her squad with a .478 batting average, 13 doubles, seven triples, 48 runs scored and a .746 slugging percentage. Hockeborn garnered All-Region III honors after batting .575 with 15 doubles and 33 stolen bases.

College of DuPage’s  Amanda Manton is the final All-American earning her distinction as a utility player. The sophomore hit a team-high .483 with 53 base knocks, five doubles, 20 RBI and scored a team-best 44 runs.
