| The NFCA Top Recruit Tournament Format |
|
The Clearwater Top Recruit Tournament will feature a 48-64-team format in a single location with a five-game guarantee. Events will run for three days, with each team playing three pool games on the first two days of the event (Friday/Saturday) within their respective age group (16U and 18U).
At the completion of pool play, all teams will then be seeded and placed into brackets. For each age group there will be four divisions: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper. Teams will be placed into brackets based first on their win/loss record in pool play, then runs allowed, followed by runs scored. If a tie-breaker is needed for seeding, a coin flip will be the deciding factor. The teams will then play two games within their respective bracket to determine an overall winner of each division.

Head Coach Meeting: 8 a.m. on Friday morning under the big tent at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.
Parent Recruiting Seminar: 9:15 a.m. on Friday morning under the big tent at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.
Game Times: Pool Play games will have a 1 hour and 30 minute time limit and bracket play has a 1 hour and 45 minute time limit. When time expires, the batter will finish but not the inning.
After 7 innings, and score is tied, go to the international tie breaker if time permits.

The application period is now open for the Top Recruit Tournament to be held in Clearwater, Fla., over Oct. 11-13, 2013.
|
| College Coach Registration |
|
College coach registration will open on August 1, 2013. All pre-registered coaches will receive a Showcase Book with player profiles upon arrival at the tournament. Tournament books will be available at the college coach check-in.
Tournament books will be available for $25 for coaches who did not pre-register for the event.

All games will be held at the award winning Eddie C. Moore Complex, located in Clearwater. The complex has nine lighted fields, soft-toss areas for pre-game warm-ups, and covered batting tunnels (near fields 8 & 9). The complex also has picnic areas, concession stands, and restrooms.
